It's over now. The full Moon has just finished gliding through Earth's shadow, a transit that produced an 81% partial lunar eclipse visible from every continent except North America. "It was a wonderful sight in the early morning sky of Bright, Australia," reports Rob Kaufman. "This shot of the setting eclipse was taken with a Canon 400D, 1 second at ISO 400."
